As of November 1, Windows Live Hotmail has allowed its email account users to receive and send mail from other Hotmail login -based service providers' e-mail accounts.
Dick Craddock, program director for Hotmail, wrote on the Inside Windows Live blog, that the feature was actually available in Outlook, but not on the Web.
Craddock also said more than 30 million subscribers of Hotmail have stated that they still use the e-mail service provided by other providers.
